Apple Cider Mimosas | Real Food with Dana

Nothing says holiday brunch like lounging around in your PJ’s and fuzzy slippers for hours, warming brunch-y foods, and mimosas. We served these on thanksgiving and they were a hit with the whole family! Because don’t get me wrong, regular-old-tried-and-true orange juice mimosas are delicious, but these Apple Cider Mimosas? The bomb. And totally seasonal for all the fall holidays!

Pro tip: use the freshest apple cider you can find – I got mine from my farmer’s market. SO GOOD.

Wanna get fancy? Throw a cinnamon stick in your glass. And use these fancy a**, super cool champagne glasses I found at World Market! (But I totally wouldn’t judge you if you made these in a regular juice glass – or even a solo cup, ha! – so you can have more…they’re that good.)

I find these are the best with Prosecco, but feel free to use your favorite champagne or other kind of bubbly! I would stay away from using a super sweet one though, since the drinks will be sweet enough from the apple cider already.

If we’re being honest here, I had no idea how many “normal” servings of prosecco are in a bottle. Apparently it’s 5 full pours or 12 tasting pours. Thanks, doctor google. Guess it depends on how much buzz you want in your bubbly brunch drink *winky face emoji*!
