A traditional thanksgiving staple fancied up by ginger, spiced apples and cinnamon sticks.

Ingredients
1 12-ounce package fresh cranberries
½ c water
½ c apple cider
2 Tbsp apple butter
1 large apple, peeled and chopped (or substitute pear)
½ c applesauce
½ Tbsp minced ginger
1 cinnamon stick
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
dash of sea salt
2 Tbsp coconut sugar (optional)
Directions
Mix all of the ingredients together in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until the berries begin to break, or for about 30 minutes.
Remove from heat and let it sit until it reaches room temperature. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
Devour with other delicious thanksgiving things!
