I wonder if it’s some kind of sick karma that yesterday I talked about my story and being sick, and now I feel like sh*t balls today. My stomach wants nothing to do with any food. Ugh. Really weird. If this week was a book title it would be “the curious case of WHY AM I SO DAMN HUNGRY” and then today its like noooooooo none of the foods. So I’m just going to savor over all these food pictures…and ride out this stomach bug. But you should make some and I’ll enjoy them vicariously through you!

mediterranean paleo cooking. I got my review copy this week…SO EXCITED to cook through it!! I’ve already made 2 recipes from it and they are amazing.

pumpkin cinnamon bun ice cream (paleo). YES!! way back in the day graham cracker ice cream was my favorite. thing. ever.

this breakfast. including leftovers from dinner with Rebecca from The Sweet Defeat. Including the chimichurri sauce I posted earlier this week. I love when internet friends become real people! And umm 1) this girl is hilarious/we’re like the same person and 2) these leftovers were delicious. We have big plans for you guys in the making.

paleo desserts for allergies and food intolerances. If you saw my post from yesterday, you probably got that it’s not always easy for me to make desserts working around a TON of food allergies, or just going by how my stomach is feeling on any given day. (especially today, ugh.) But hey!! This is a really cool interactive tool to figure out different desserts you can have within different foods you’re avoiding. yay for dessert that doesn’t make you feel like sh*t!

homemade blueberry-rosemary ice cream from The Paleo Kitchen. soo this recipe may be old news since this cookbook came out a few months ago, but I just made a version of the ice cream this week with chocolate and banana. and man, was it DECADENT. plus you don’t need an ice cream maker. mmm.

Spicy Maple Bacon and Dark Chocolate Scones. because chocolate and bacon are a match made in heaven. unless you’re a veggie.
