Last year, I gave you guys a MASSIVE list of healthy holiday gift ideas. This year, I’ve been trying to cut back on the amount of STUFF I have, so I’m only going to give you my TOP gift ideas in a couple categories. So whether you’re looking for kitchen ideas, beauty or skincare stuff, the most bada** workout tanktop you’ve ever seen, or my new favorite cookbooks, I’ve got you covered!

what’s on your holiday list this year? Let me know in the comments!

Kitchen Stuff

the Instant Pot.

By far my newest kitchen obsession and tool I cannot live without. Trying to cut down on cooking or prep time? This is your wizard. Plus, it’s an all-in-one kitchen appliance, so it takes care of slow cooking, making soups, poultry, rice, broth, even yogurt!! Need some recipe inspiration? Check out my 30 Whole30 Instant Pot Recipes Roundup!

There are usually some AWESOME black friday deals on the instant pot, so keep your eyes peeled!!

Williams Sonoma Harry Potter Kitchen Collection.

Don’t mind me, the nerd is coming out. But can you blame me? How freaking COOL are these new kitchen aprons + spatulas?! Pottery barn also has some insaaane looking Harry Potter house stuff this year. just saying…

Books

Whole30 Fast & Easy Cookbook.

January will be the biggest (and baddest) Whole30 yet. Are you ready? Whether you’re a seasoned Whole30 pro or a newbie, everybody could use a little more skill and flavor in the kitchen – and this new cookbook will help you get in and out even faster without compromising on flavor. Did I mention there are a few recipes from YOURS TRULY in the book?? (Comes out December 5th!!)

Nom Nom Paleo’s Ready or Not Cookbook.

You probably already know my love of Michelle Tam and all her Nom Nom Paleo recipes + her first cookbook. It’s one of my all-time favorites (and basically taught me how to cook) so I could not WAIT to get my hands on her newest cookbook, which is all about saving time in the kitchen. It’s even organized by how much time you have to cook a meal – whether you’re ready, kinda ready, or totally-not-ready-but-I-need-food-now! Plus, there are a bunch of delicious new Instant Pot recipes, so you know I needed this one in my arsenal! (Read my full review here!)

Skincare + Beauty + Health

Cocokind Turmeric Face Stick / Spot treatment.

I’ve been struggling with a lot of weird breakouts and inflammation on my face lately that I’ve never had before, so instead of trying the traditional acne treatments (that are full of hormone-disrupting chemicals), I decided to try something new – the Turmeric Spot Treatment from my new favorite skincare company: Cocokind. Their stuff is all natural, and I was a little worried about my face turning totally yellow with the face stick (it WILL stain your clothes, so be careful!), but it actually does work really well for reducing inflammation and making the bumps go down almost overnight!

If I had a really bad breakout, I would alternate the face stick with my favorite Charcoal Mask or Charcoal Bar for double duty.

Beautycounter Winter Jewesl Palette Beautycounter Holiday Sets

my favorite: the Winter Jewels Palette.

If you’re in to makeup and safer skincare stuff, there are some INSANEly amazing new holiday sets from Beautycounter this year. I love the WINTER JEWELS PALETTE because it’s an all-in-one blush, highlighter, bronzer, and super festive eyeshadows in the same palette, and the colors are GORGEOUS. I love how you can use it for a quick everyday look, or a dressed-up holiday / going out look too!

Another favorite this year – the MULTI-MASKER SET, which comes with the Charcoal Mask, Balancing Mask, and Plumping face mask. Because #treatyoself.

They even have a kids’ and men’s collection this year as well – gifts for everyone!

PS. Anyone who places an order over $100 through my link will receive a FREE gift from me from one of the Beautycounter Holiday Sets (through Cyber Monday)!!

MOTHER DIRT: Good Bacteria for Great Skin.

This is an interesting one. The premise of this awesome company that I met at Expo this year is years of using harsh chemicals and conventional products on our skin has stripped the skin microbiome of its healthy and protective bacteria. So these Mother Dirt products help restore the healthy balance of bacteria on your skin, helping prevent or heal acne, inflammation, and other skin conditions. I’ve been loving the Shampoo and Cleanser!

You can get 20% off if you sign up for the email newsletter on the Mother Dirt site!

Balanced Health Food Sensitivities Scan

The holidays are a perfect time to do some food sensitivities testing because *usually*, a lot of us are eating foods outside our day-to-day food choices. Thanksgiving pies, Christmas dinners, holiday party cookies…and the works. If you hadn’t been eating these foods for a while and ordered a test, those foods might not show up, even if you do have an intolerance to them – because they need to be in your system in order to show up. So if you’ve been wondering about it, I’d highly recommend getting a test done during the holidays, while these foods are in your system, to see! (Here’s a post I wrote all about how the process works!)

*use the code “realfoodwithdana” for $20 off a full scan! – From 11/24 – 11/27, all Full Scans are $50 off!! Black Friday Days for the WIN!

Clothes & Accessories

Unfkwithable Crop Top from She Thrives

this is Taylor from She Thrives Blog. If you’ve never heard of her, she’s a total bada**. And I’m totally in love with her “unfkwithable” crop top. Not sure what that means? Read this post: How to become unfkwithable in 5 easy steps.

Fitbit Charge 2

I wasn’t initially on to the whole fitbit/tracking every-little-thing craze with everyone else, because I do believe people can get waaaaay too obsessive with it. But as long as they’re used in a HEALTHY way (aka not getting crazy if you only hit 9,999 steps for the day), I think they’re fantastic for making sure you’re getting enough non-exercise movement during the day, tracking your sleep, etc. Especially if you’re someone who works from home or works at a desk all day – this is a great reminder to get up and move! And this style/color is sooo cool.
