What a very appropriate post title this week. I’m back from sin/gluttony city Vegas and my friend’s bachelorette party! I’m not so much in a food coma as I am a post-vacation coma. It never ceases to amaze me how EXTREMELY hard it is to get back to work after vacation. Which is exactly why I’m writing this post instead of writing a research paper for grad school. Oops. Post-vacation depression is totally a thing. Especially when you go from living with this view (below) and the go-go-go party lifestyle of Vegas to staring at your computer screen and physiology textbook in a library for hours on end.

with a caveat on #2 – eliminating food groups – which is totally fine if your body doesn’t respond well to them. Like me and gluten/dairy. We definitely aren’t friends, for a good reason. Also totally fine if you’re doing a food challenge like the whole30 to see how your body does respond to them! But if you’re eliminating food groups for absolutely no reason…you probably want to check yourself.
