Oh hey you guys. It’s been a week. A FANTASTIC one. Just a couple cool things happening over here, ya know. This fantastic soup being one of them.
- I re-signed one of my favorite Health Coaching clients because she was so thrilled with our experience working together. Yes!!
- I volunteered at our local professional cooking school at a “Fresh & Fit” class, which was AMAZING. I’ve got some fantastic recipe ideas coming to the blog for you guys! Think german chocolate brownies. Yes.
- I got featured on Primal Palate’s Make it Paleo II Recipe Roundup!
- I CAN EAT EGGS AGAIN!!
Oh yeah. Pretty sweet, right? Especially the eggs part. I was like a little kid waiting to go to Disneyworld the morning I woke up this week and was like YES! IT’S REINTRODUCTION DAY!! Try going 6 weeks without one of your top favorite foods in the whole world and tell me you wouldn’t be excited to eat them again. You better believe I savored every single bite of that little egg.
But anyway! Back to the recipes. It’s been a while since I did a Food Coma Fridays over here! Did you miss them? I love linking up to other blogs and showing you guys what’s up in the food blogger world and the recipes I’m dying to make.
What’s new and good with you guys this week?
THE BEST Roasted Carrots. Okay, these are my own recipe. But I’ve already eaten them 4 times this week, no joke. They’re THAT good.
Butternut Squash-Apple-Bacon Soup from Make it Paleo II: Over 175 New Grain-Free Recipes for the Primal Palate.
Sugar Detox Friendly Blender Bread. Yes, you read right. Bread you make in a blender (before you bake it, sillies.) Oh yeah it’s grain-free too.
Sunbutter and Jelly Ice cream. UGH want. Now.
So, this is a totally unrelated note and kind of late since this post is about Valentine’s Day. But it’s one of the FUNNIEST freaking posts I’ve ever read. Do yourself a favor, have a laugh, and read this sh*t ASAP by my friend A Deliberate Pace: Now Let’s Talk: Surviving Valentine’s Day
