I’m finally back from all my vacations! I know you all missed me. This last one was a road trip with my best friends up to Rhode Island and Cape Cod. We ate (lots of) seafood, drank (lots of) wine, went whale watching, scootering around Newport, RI on Ocean Avenue (which yes, is a real place and I FREAKED OUT about it), and had endless laughs. It was amazing. Especially this whale photobomb here. Well done, whale, well done. EHRMAHGERD you guys it’s almost fall. WHAT?! You know what that means. Brace yourselves because pumpkin ALL OF THE THINGS is coming. Beginning with the starbucks PSL (pumpkin-spiced latte, duh) on September 8th? Don’t ask me why I know that. Not that I can even drink those things because there’s dairy in the syrup or whatever it is that they put in it to make it taste so damn good. Apparently starbucks is going to put actual pumpkin in them this year?! Mind. blown.
But let’s enjoy some more summer recipes before we get there. Labor day weekend anyone? Nothing says a farewell to summer like a good Labor day BBQ/get together. Great food will be had, drinks will be imbibed in. I’m pretty excited about it. But even MORE excited about these recipes. Check ’em out!
