Things I'm Loving: July 2017 | Real Food with Dana

Currently devouring:

Primal Kitchen Collagen Fuel – Chocolate Coconut. Soo down on the new trend for flavored collagen. With this new stuff from Primal Kitchen you’re getting all the healthy benefits of collagen (stronger skin, nails, hair, etc.) with the awesome flavors of chocolate and coconut. Try it in a smoothie like this one!

Simple Mills Cassava Flour Crackers. So freaking good and satisfying for a salty snack! Sidenote: I also tried their Pancake & Waffle mix…AMAZING. If you ever have a pancake/waffle craving and are terrible at coming up with recipes like me, you must try these!

Daily Harvest Smoothies. Not kidding or exaggerating at all when I say I’ve had a smoothie every single day for breakfast this summer. When I make my own they’re usually the same…so having Daily Harvest around to switch it up with some creative, delicious flavors has been a lifesaver! They have some awesome new Chia Bowls too. Current favorite: Blue Majik! Use the code “realfoodwithdana” for 3 FREE smoothies in your first order!

Soom Tahini. Current flavor profile obsession: Tahini + harissa + olives on all the things. Loving this super smooth version from Soom!! They also have a CHOCOLATE tahini which is absolutely insane (and delicious!).

Primal Palate Spices: Barbeque Rub. Absolutely perfect for grilling anything and everything this summer!

Tessemae’s Honey Poppyseed Dressing. Reminds me of the Panera poppyseed dressing I used to get all the time – so freaking delicious! They’ve got some awesome new Whole30 flavors too like Creamy Habanero Ranch!

Fitness & Healthy Living Faves:

Nike Metcon Flyknits. New OBSESSION. I’ve loved my Metcon 2’s for Crossfit since they came out, but I was really running them into the ground. #1 complain about the 2’s for me was how easy the shoelaces came apart. No more problems with these! And they are SO freaking comfortable for both lifting and running, which you don’t find often in a shoe. I almost prefer these to my lifters for barbell work…eek!

Perque Potent C Guard (Vitamin C). Not going to lie, with how stressed and overcommitted I’ve been this summer, I knew I was in danger of slipping back into adrenal fatigue, so I’ve been doing everything I can to support my body! Most important steps – not overdoing it on crossfit, eating more carbohydrates due to a higher activity level, and taking supplements like Vitamin C every day to support the adrenals.

Territory meals. Another total lifesaver this summer when I had zero time to meal prep most weekends due to swim meets + grad school + working in the nutrition clinic. Want to try some? Use the code “REALFOODWITHDANA” at checkout to get a free meal on me!
