In this episode, we’re chatting about where evidence-based nutrition guidelines and breaking free of dieting, improving your relationship with food and your body intersect. Which, as you guys know, is exactly my philosophy and what I try to do every episode on this podcast, so I’m really excited to have Victoria Myers on the podcast today! Victoria is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist whose goal is to inspire and educate her community to understand intuitive eating, how that connects to digestive and hormonal health, respect their bodies and let go of the perfectionist mindset. Her information is catered to women with the unhealthy obsession with eating healthy, as Victoria herself once struggled with this and now helps others break free from the health and wellness world that has become diet centric.

The focus of today’s episode today is about how the behaviors we engage in around food and exercise, whether that be chronic dieting, disordered eating, restricting our food, or eating disorders, impact us on a deep, physiological level – and how those behaviors can manifest in physical symptoms like digestive and hormonal issues. Victoria and I then talk about how we can approach these clinical manifestations from a non-restrictive approach, so you don’t get caught back up in the diet cycle that got you here in the first place.
