Cristina Hoyt is back on the show today to talk about Whole-hearted Eating ™: the philosophy we created together that describes exactly how we approach nutrition (through an evidence-based, non-diet, weight-inclusive, HAES lens) on this podcast, working with individual clients, in our group coaching programs. It grew out of a need and void that we saw in the intuitive eating and integrative health and nutrition worlds, because on the one hand Intuitive eating doesn’t talk about integrative nutrition or symptom management in a holistic, integrative approach. And on the other hand, in the integrative nutrition and health world, most practitioners are not using a HAES, weight-inclusive, neutral nutrition approach. In fact, more often than not, the integrative nutrition and health world encourages morality around food and body size – by demonizing certain foods with elimination protocols, ‘food as medicine’, etc.

So – what does Whole-Hearted Eating™ actually look like in practice, and how can you get there? Listen to learn about the prerequisites that inform the Whole-Hearted Eating™ philosophy and 4 pillars of Whole-Hearted Eating™!
